I feel like an empty kettle that’s been left plugged in and switched on

A very long and painful day today. Just one of many to come I suppose. It’s so hard to keep going sometimes.

When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don’t be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
There’s a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark
Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown

Sometimes you just want to give up. Sometimes throughout the day you feel like everything is too much pressure. Sometimes you just want to cry an ocean of tears. Sometimes it just hurts all too much. Must remember that sometimes is not always. Sometimes is very very often at present but it is not always.

Strange you know! The Liverpool anthem. It was always going to be my funeral song. Not because I wanted to be a Liverpool supporter! Born with blue blood me! But because it represent football fans. Even before hillsborough, that song sung at a field or when they came to your ground, made the hairs on your neck stand up. Now Ian’s pinched my song. That song now belongs to ian. We didn’t play it at his funeral but because he died in Liverpool and the football, the right of the song became his. Maybe he is telling me the words now. Gonna have to get me another song I suppose!
