I plow on and on. Still in the middle of sorting out UAE stuff but hopefully things are moving forward and I can start to make plans on coming back to the UK permanently. Certainly by the summer, fingers crossed. It will be very painful to leave here and so many lovely memories and so many good friends. But I will take both with me. Here’s a pic of Ian 2008 when we went camping in Oman.

I am absolutely gutted today to say that Top Oilfield no longer belongs to the Midgleys. After a hard fought three months of trying to fight to keep our half of the business, I finally got bullied out and with no choices left, had to sign it over. 20 years ago Ians brother set up Top Oilfield. 10 years ago, Ian took over after his brothers death. He turned it from a company employing just over 30 people to an industry employing 300. Ian made what Top Oilfield became. Thank you Mr Midgley for putting your heart and soul into this company and giving the family a wonderful life on the back of it. I am so so sorry I couldn’t do more. No matter what, TOPs will always have risen from Midgleys. Now I need to start the process of returning home which will take a couple of months and start grieving for my husband instead of getting tangled in this corrupt mess.
